Brunsdon Financial is a privately-owned, long-established financial services company based in Gloucester. I am currently working with the business on an ongoing basis, creating copy for blogs and monthly client ebulletins. I currently write articles targeted to the company’s personal wealth management clients and corporate customers, featuring subjects that are relevant and timely to the industry.

Inside Out Wellness provides yoga classes and Ayurvedic coaching, as well as selling essential oils and being an official Tropic ambassador. The brief was to create a bright, clean, inviting and engaging six-page website to showcase all the business has to offer in a clear and welcoming way. Myself and the business owner, Vicky Tyler-O’Connor, worked closely together to bring her vision to life. She runs her business with such passion and I made sure to convey that through the copy I created and the images curated.
Research and Content Creation, My Town Rocks
November 2020 - January 2021
My Town Rocks, a What's On Guide for families, is experiencing a period of rapid growth, developing new websites for multiple locations across the UK. I worked with the brand to research activities and create exciting, relevant content for new local sites before they launched in early 2021: copywriting, image sourcing, uploading to the back end of the new sites and making use of their CRM to track all contacts of businesses uploaded. Articles, The Positive Wellbeing Zine for Mums
February 2021
The Positive Wellbeing Zine for Mums is a stunning independent quarterly print publication. The magazine works with independent writers and illustrators, and offers its readers “inspiration, information and relaxation.” Content is focussed on motherhood and positive wellbeing. I submitted two article pitches for Issues 11 and 12. Both were accepted and the full-length pieces are due to be published in quarters one and two of 2021. The articles focus on wellness for mothers to children of all ages, something which is a personal passion of mine. Details of articles are available on request.
Commissioned for product descriptions, Kelly The Poet

Kelly Robinson-Key is an inspirational poet and author of three books. Kelly sells a wide range of products on her website, including her popular positive affirmation cards. As a busy working mother of two, Kelly hired me to undertake a complete re-write of her products. Much of the previous copy was written by Kelly herself and featured the same description being used for multiple items. My role was to create new, individualised descriptions, ensuring they were accurate, engaging and above all, enticing to the shopper.
Sustainable Christmas Ideas, Commissioned Blog Post, My Town Rocks

Due to increasing traffic to the site thanks to the brand’s rapid expansion, My Town Rocks wants to keep their news section fresh, useful and up-to-date. I have been commissioned to write monthly articles on the company’s behalf. The brief was for posts to contain timely subjects and to be created with families in mind, written in the friendly but informative house style associated with the My Town Rocks brand. Safar, Emirates' employee newspaper, UAE
October 2018
A project with Motivate Publishing working as a features writer for their client, Emirates. This role involved creating human interest, business and travel stories for Safar, Emirates’ employee newspaper. Editing was carried out on Adobe InDesign. The publication is produced fortnightly under a strict triple-proofing process, and has a print run of 17,000, with a further 80,000 distributed electronically. Meet The Producers, Spinneys, UAE
Summer 2018
Spinneys is a premium supermarket based in Dubai, UAE, and were a key client of ours during my time at ITP Media. They were keen to showcase their long-standing international, and local suppliers and shine a spotlight on their produce. My scope of work included contacting the producers for company information, and writing engaging, informative pieces that tied in with Spinneys’ preferred format of “Who They Are, What They Do, Try The Products”. The website receives around 100,000 unique hits a month. Details of my articles are available on request.
The Goodness of Dates, The Spinneys Guide, UAE
May 2018
A timely article written for the Spinneys Guide To Ramadan. The brief was to emphasise the health benefits of dates, whilst also presenting background information into the region’s production. The article was split into four main sections detailing the fruit’s various physiological benefits.
