About Me

Hi, I’m Roxy. What can I tell you about me? Well, I adore the beach, a cosy evening of reading, tea and stomping the hills of the Cotswolds. I also love to write.

My career started in London, pulling together client newsletters for a small marketing agency in 2012. Fast forward four years and I had relocated to the glistening city of Dubai, drafting internal comms and presentations for the MD of a multinational.

In 2018, I joined ITP Media, one of the largest media agencies in the Middle East, as an editorial assistant, assisting on a three-month web project for their client Spinneys, a premium supermarket. My focus was creating web articles (100,000 unique views) that shone a spotlight on their long-standing suppliers, with a focus on provenance and sustainability. I was also involved in writing timely food stories for their printed publication, The Spinneys Guide (monthly print run of 10,000).

Following the end of the project, I gained the role of features writer with Motivate Publishing, another of the region’s media giants. I was worked exclusively on the Emirates client account (no exciting travel involved sadly!), creating business, human interest and travel stories for the airline's fortnightly employee newspaper (print run of 17,000, digital distribution of 80,000). It was an exhilarating role, communicating with dozens of stakeholders and working to tighter than tight deadlines – I loved it.

As well as this, I've also written for independent blogs and I run my own wellness account on Instagram with a focus on women’s health.

2019 was the year of repatriating back to the UK and going on maternity leave. However, 2020 was the year I put pen to paper again and launched my own business. This business. Since its inception, I’ve written for both small and large Gloucestershire-based businesses, as well as national brands, in subjects ranging from finance to lifestyle. You can view my portfolio under the ‘Work’ section and if you have time take a look at some of the testimonials from my lovely clients.

Ok, enough about me; let’s have a chat so I can get to know you and your business. I’ll get the coffees in.
